Springfield Prep Charter School Massachusetts Public

Help Close the Opportunity Gap

Did you know that per pupil, significantly less is spent in low-income, urban schools than at neighboring ones? Donations like yours help close the opportunity gap by funding initiatives to recruit and retain a diverse cohort of excellent teachers and support after-school and extra-curricular programming. A rigorous and well-rounded approach to education helps our scholars thrive in life and on their journey to college–creating a strong foundation for generational change and a more equitable world.

  • Join us for a Lunchbox Tour: Take a walk down memory lane as we go “back to school” and introduce you to Springfield Prep! While here, you’ll meet with teachers and students, participate in authentic classroom experiences, and learn why students are thriving.

  • We'd love to introduce you to our scholars! Every Friday our school comes together for our Community Meeting. Friends (like you!) often come to talk about their career, what inspired and helped them along the way, and/or their alma mater (among other things!). These community connections make all the difference; when you show up to witness our scholars’ efforts, it strengthens their "scope of possibility" as they learn, dream, and look to the future.
