We believe that education is a powerful driver for change, and a strong educational foundation is transformative for our students. We believe that a great education is rigorous and engaging, and that outcomes matter.

We counter historical inequity through excellent teaching and by creating culturally affirming environments for our students. As a community, we work to confront our own biases as we examine the harmful systems of inequity and oppression that must be dismantled to build a more just world.

Meaningful work can be hard — we believe it’s worth it. We focus on what we can impact and believe our potential for impact is great. We hold high expectations for ourselves and our students, and we support each other and our students to rise to the challenge. We believe everyone is capable of success with the right support.
